Lynnwood Library Gallery
Mellow Yellow Juried Art Exhibit
Lynnwood, WA

Barbara Freeman's new work, Seen Better Days has been juried into a color themed exhibit, sponsored by the Lynnwood Arts Commission. The Mellow Yellow Juried Art Exhibit, will be held in the Lynnwood Library Gallery, 19200 44th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA. This exhibit runs from September 26th through November 13th, 2008. There will be a Reception and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, October 4th from 11am to 12 pm.

Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival
43 Annual Mukilteo Lightouse Festival
Mukilteo, WA

Barbara Freeman has had two works, Our Neck of the Woods and The Watchers, juried into the 43rd Annual Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival taking place on September 5th, 6th and 7th. The exhibit will be hung in the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Avenue in Old Town Mukilteo. There will be a free Patron's Party and Artists' Awards celebration taking place on Thursday, September 4th from 5:30 to 7:30, with complimentary hors d' oeuvres and a no host wine bar. Music will be provided by the Soundview Ensemble. Hope to see you there!

Kenmore Arts Festival
10th Annual Kenmore Arts Festival
Kenmore, WA

Barbara Freeman has two works, The Dwelling Place and Before the Autumn Planting juried into the 10th Annual Kenmore Art Show held at the Northlake Lutheran Church, 6620 NE 185th St., Kenmore, WA. The exhibit runs from August 22 through August 31, 2:30 to 8:30 PM. There will be an Artists & Patrons Preview Party and Awards Celebration on Friday, August the 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, awards presented at 7:00. This exhibit is one of the finest "pure art shows" in the area. The artwork is well presented in a comfortable space, without vendors. For your enjoyment, there will be entertainment nightly from 7:00 to 8:00 PM during this exhibit.

The Summer Arts Festival

LiveARTS Bothell will be exhibiting four of Barbara Freeman's miniatures during the Bothell Summer Arts Festival at the park at Bothell Landing June 28 - 29, 2008, 10am - 6pm. The Preview Party will be held on Friday, June 27, 6pm - 8pm.

Edmonds Arts Festival
51st Annual
Edmonds, WA

Barbara Freeman has had four miniatures and one larger drawing accepted into the 51st Annual Edmonds Arts Festival Juried Art Exhibit, to be held Father's Day Weekend, June 13 - 15, 2008. Her work, Neighbors has won First Place in Miniatures. The preview party will be held on Thursday, June 12 at 6:00pm.

Parklane Gallery's 16th Annual Miniature Art Show

Parklane Gallery has accepted four of Barbara Freeman's miniatures into their 16th Annual Miniature Art Show. One of them, Ghost Tree (click to see more miniatures), has won the Art Associations award and was purchased at the Patron Preview. The show runs from May 6 through June 1, 2008 at Parklane Gallery, 130 Park Lane, Kirkland, WA.

Seaside Gallery Miniature Art Show
Nags Head, NC

The Seaside Gallery of the Outer Banks, NC has accepted three of Barbara Freeman's miniatures into their 17th Annual Miniature Art Show. The show runs from May 5 through May 31, 2008 at The Seaside Gallery, 2716 South Virginia Dare Trail, Nags Head NC.
All accepted work, including Barbara's three pieces, is currently available for pre-show sales on the exhibit web site.

Barbara Freeman will present several miniature drawings in "Miniature Masterpieces and More!", a holiday exhibit mounted by Kaewyn Gallery, 10101 Main St., Bothell WA.  The exhibit opens on November 30, 2007 and runs through the holiday season, until January 31, 2008.  Kaewyn Gallery is a lovely gallery located in beautiful downtown Bothell, WA.

EAFA 32nd Annual Open Juried Exhibition

Barbara Freeman has had a painting, Villa with Umbrella Trees (click to see more Italy Landscapes), accepted into the annual Eastside Association of Fine Arts (EAFA) 32nd Annual Open Juried Exhibition to be held at the Redmond City Hall, Redmond, WA, Nov. 26, 2007 - Jan. 4, 2008.  The opening reception is scheduled for 2 pm—5 pm, in the lobby of Redmond City Hall, Sunday, Dec. 2.

74th Annual International Exhibition of Fine Art in Miniature

Barbara Freeman has had three miniature colored-pencil drawings accepted into the International Exhibition of Fine Art in Miniature, Nov 19 - Dec. 29, 2007, in Washington, D.C.  One of them, A Curious Pair.(click to see more miniatures), has won Third Place, Drawings.  This prestigious international juried exhibition is sponsored by The Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington, D.C.  There will be an Artists Luncheon, Awards Ceremony and Opening Reception on Nov 18 and a Collectors Opening on Saturday, Nov 17.

Barbara Freeman will exhibit her paintings and miniature drawings at the Remax Champions office at 525 5th Ave. S. #100 in Edmonds from Aug. 13 through Sept. 6, 2007.

The office will hold a reception spotlighting Barbara's work, in conjunction with the Edmonds Art Walk on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.

Barbara Freeman has two pieces from her new Italian Series in the Festival's Juried Art Show, held at the Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. This 41st annual event ran Sept. 7 - 10, 2006.

One of Barbara's entries, Villa with Umbrella Trees, won 1st Place in the Painting category.

Mukilteo Art Walk
Mukilteo, WA

Barbara Freeman displayed several recent works at the final 2006 edition of this monthly summer event, on Sept. 21, 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The Art Walk is a multi-venue event and Barbara's display was at the Art Studio building, 724 1st St., near the Silver Cloud Inn.
